Create Custom Paper Sizes in Microsoft Word

If you haven’t altered any settings in the print application, you will see the default settings displayed there, so you know that the custom size feature is now available.

To print a custom page size using the Microsoft driver for printers it is necessary to install the latest edition of the driver, and then you can use the driver for customizing page size to set the custom page size. After the installation is complete it is necessary to restart the printer and press the “Control” button to bring up the driver control panel. In previous versions of MS Word, you would need to click “Printer Drivers,” and in v10 the “Printers” button has been grayed out.

Use the custom paper size driver to change the number of columns and rows as well as the margins and the alignment of the text. To alter the layout of your page, use the “Pages” drop-down menu. Before you print with this driver, make sure that your computer has enough space to hold the additional pages. Only if all the pages you need are already on your computer can you set a customized size for your paper. If you do not have the pages that you require include them in the print screen by clicking on the plus sign icon. Then, right-click on the print button and choose the option “load additional pages”. After that, click OK. Once you’re done making changes to the print dialog box you can click on the “exit” button to exit the print function.
